Media agency ZenithOptimedia has picked up the media account for consumer brand company Henkel which sells products such as Schwarzkopf haircare, Sellotape, Persil, Pritt, and Dry Idea.
The account was previously held by media agency MEC and is thought to have a media spend of around $10m a year.
“Henkel have shown a great commitment to innovation with regard to the media solutions they have put forward and were very successful in last year’s MFA awards,” said Ian Perrin, CEO of ZenithOptimedia.
“We look forward to delivering some new award winning work for them,” he added.
Yesterday Mumbrella revealed ZenithOptimedia had retained one of its largest accounts Reckitt Benckiser, after a competitive pitch. The media account has a spend of more than $80m a year.
