More than 200 employees will work in the new headquarters who have transferred from Aylesbury and Hatfield, as well as the former Hemel Hempstead premises.

Henkel UK and Ireland president Liam Murphy said: “This investment into having a state-of-the-art headquarters building also demonstrates our commitment to the future of the UK business, and of course to Hemel Hempstead.

“The Hemel Hempstead HQ will allow greater inter-action across the businesses, ensuring our colleagues have a modern place of work to be proud of, making the working environment more inspiring and enjoyable. The move will boost team relationships and team working.”

The new building stands alongside Henkel’s existing facility at Wood End Lane, Hemel Hempstead.

Henkel makes various chemical products including detergents and adhesives alongside such brands as Schwarzkopf and Sellotape.
