SAERTEX’s SAERfix EP composite adhesive has been tested by the Wesserling Enviromental Analysis Laboratory in Munster, Germany and has been declared harmless to water resources.
SAERTEX says that SAERfix® EP adhesive is compatible with epoxy resins and is integrated in the composite matrix during hardening. In contrast with the textile adhesives usually employed, SAERfix® EP has virtually no effect on laminate mechanical characteristics. In fact, fatigue resistance is partially improved due to its elasticating effect. SAERfix® EP is available as tape on release paper or in a combined system as self-adhesive non-crimped fabric.
“We are always on the lookout for ways to reduce our environmental footprint, and are always happy to take measures to go above and beyond those legally prescribed”, says managing director Bruno Lammers.
