《Bostik Introduces a New, High Performing Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive》:
Bostik chemists engineered the H20182 smart adhesive to meet the evolving demands of adhering to difficult substrates while maintaining bond performance properties at low temperatures. Not only can the H20182 be used for indoor finished goods, it can also be used in some outdoor applications including field turf, non-structural window and door assemblies, insulation, and similar building materials. With an aggressive hot tack and a relatively low viscosity, the high performing product has a wide processing window in both spray and extrusion equipment.
Erik Turtinen, Bostik’s Hot Melt Adhesive Product Manager, states: “H20182 has arguably the best balance between cost and temperature performance range of any hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive on the market. This adhesive pushes the envelope of PSA technology by providing excellent cold temperature performance without sacrificing the high temperature resistance you see from most light assembly adhesives.”
